Cade Tompkins Projects focuses on advancing and exhibiting contemporary art, featuring work by emerging, mid-career, and established artists in mediums including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and installation. Tompkins has been a contemporary art dealer for over 40 years and opened her Providence, Rhode Island gallery in September 2009. To date, the gallery has presented over 50 exhibitions by represented artists. Cade Tompkins Projects exhibited gallery artists at the IFPDA Fine Art Print Fair (2023) and Art in an Airstream during the IFPD Fair (2016); Master Drawings New York (2018, 2020, and 2022); SPRING/BREAK Art Show (2016-2023); and the E/AB Fair (2006-2013).

Clients range from major museums to new collectors as well as corporations, hospitals, and seasoned art connoisseurs. She is interested in finding art for clients at all levels of collecting.

Cade Tompkins is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA); Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA); ArtTable, the national professional organization advancing leadership of women in the visual arts; and a sustaining member of the Association of Print Scholars (APS).
